“Brilliant Easter trail in the woods, we loved it” Caroline Phillips
We’ve just finished a busy and brilliant week of Egg Fest 2018. The weather was much kinder than predicted and even when the rain did pass through the woods everyone was ready with their colourful wellies and waterproofs.
“Lots of eggs to find, lovely atmosphere! Can't think of a better way to spend Easter Sunday!” Sarah Hart
The tractor & trailers were constantly on the move throughout the week with our fabulous story telling chickens & rabbits coming back muddy but happy each day. Even our spring lambs thought the tractors were great as they danced and played alongside them when they came down the lane.
“We had such a fantastic day! The staff were absolutely amazing and made the experience for adults and children a memorable one! My son found the golden egg! He was so chuffed! Thank you for a brilliant day!!” Nichola Flynn
The golden egg was successfully found everyday though our hearts skipped a beat every time someone was near it (or stood on top of it)! and every child got an Easter egg at the collection station with our lucky lambs trying to find their raffle number as quickly as possible.
“…great fun looking for eggs and squishing in all the mud! They even had dairy free eggs there too which is fantastic" @beckyandkamryn
There wasn’t just eggs in the woods but also lots of characters to find and pose with, challenging children from all ages and amusing the adults! Our easter bunnies worked very hard all week and probably know each nook and cranny by heart.
"Can’t wait for your next big event!" @emmapaul87
As we take down Peppa Pig and the egg creation station it’s not long until I hear chatter about new ideas and how to get things even better next time - I think we’re going to have to find a bigger woodland!
